Russell Falls, Tasmania

In November 2018 I took a quick three-day trip to Tasmania, a place I had never visited despite it being less than an hour’s flight from Melbourne.  I was determined to photograph at least one waterfall during my whirlwind visit, and Russell Falls was a one hour drive north west from Hobart.

From the carpark, a pleasant thirty-minute walk through the forest brought me to Russell Falls.

A short distance and a stair climb later I arrived at Horseshoe Falls.

Only a brief visit but well worth the time.
