First there was Hokkaido Cheese Tarts and now there's Pafu, the latest Japan inspired sweet treat to land in Melbourne.

A light, crispy puff pastry filled with custard and apple pieces, Pafu is essentially an apple and custard danish re-imagined in a typical cute Japanese style.

Like the recently opened Uncle Tetsu's, Pafu tends to attract a line of curious and eager patrons, so you might find yourself standing in a queue for 10 or 15 minutes to make a purchase.
